The Walking Dead maintains its #1 ranking in top of mind awareness, no doubt with the help from last week’s positively-reviewed midseason finale.

Sons of Anarchy also revved up their showing, moving up four spots to #3 in anticipation of its impending series finale.

Our biggest mover this week was HBO’s Game of Thrones (#7), which jumped up seven places, possibly due to its newly released video game adaptation. Other notable shifts include NBC’s The Voice (#9, up by 4), CW’s The Flash (#10, down by 4), and CBSCriminal Minds (#19, down by 4).

Fantasy dramas Supernatural and Sleepy Hollow both re-entered the rankings, coming in at #16 and #18 respectively.

NBC’s Peter Pan Live entered the Top 20 rankings at #17 thanks to buzz-worthy performances by Allison Williams and Christopher Walken.

ABC and CBS were the most represented networks, with four shows apiece in the rankings; the CW followed right after with three programs in the Top 20 this week.

Dropping out of the Top 20 are: Dancing With the Stars following its season finale; NFL (#16), NBC’s The Blacklist (#19), and CBS’ Survivor (#20).

Word cloud December 7

Each week, Ipsos MediaCT TV Dailies seeks to find out what television shows have people talking. Collecting over 5,000 unaided responses among persons ages 13-64, TV Dailies produces a top of mind awareness meter (TOMAmeter) that details the 20 most spontaneously mentioned television shows.

Here are your TOMAmeter results for December 1-7.
