Congratulations to Alfonso Ribeiro on winning the 19th season of ABC’s Dancing with the Stars and also helping the program reenter the Top 20. After a quiet October and November, the dancing competition program jumped up to #9, which is the best performance for the show since the middle of September.
A couple of other broadcast programs had big performances in the Top 20 this week. ABC’s Once Upon a Time moved up from #9 to #5 which represents the highest ranking in the programs history. CW’s The Flash has the highest leap in the standings, moving up five spots to #6, while its running mate Arrow moved up five places to #11.
NBC’s The Voice is gearing up for the final rounds, but mentions of the program slipped a bit this week. Last week’s #8 most mentioned program has gone down five spots to #13, just behind ABC’s How to Get Away with Murder which also fell five places to #12.
For the second week in a row, ABC is the most represented network in the Top 20. With another five programs making the cut this week, ABC beat out CBS who had four programs in our rankings while NBC, CW and FX had two apiece.
New programs in our Top 20: ABC’s Dancing with the Stars (#9), Netflix’s Orange is the New Black (#17) and CBS’ Survivor (#20).
No longer in our Top 20 this week: ABC’s Grey’s Anatomy (previously #12), NBC’s Law and Order (previously #17) and FOX’s Sleepy Hollow (previously #20).
