As mentioned in this space last week, CBS’ Zoo was destined for big things if the past was any indicator. The new drama makes its TOMAmeter debut at #7, which follows last summer’s network premiere, Extant (#4) and 2013’s Under The Dome (#1), during each respective premiere week.

ABC Family’s Pretty Little Liars sixth season is in full swing and mentions of the program helped move it up six places from #14 to #8 this week. Pretty Little Liars has been a steady performer in the Top 10 since this season began, spending four of the possible five weeks claiming a place in the rankings.

Last week’s headline, TNT’s The Last Ship has sunk down to #14 after debuting at #8 last week. CBS’s Criminal Minds also saw a six spot decrease and now owns the #17 spot this week.

Congratulations to the United States Women’s National team on defeating Japan in this year’s Soccer/FIFA World Cup. Unfortunately mentions of the tournament were just below the cutoff, but the high scoring affair between the two teams in the finals this past Sunday may be enough for the popular event to sneak in next week.

The summer of CBS continues as the network has now claimed seven of the Top 20 most mentioned programs this week. ABC, FOX, NBC and HBO were all behind CBS with two programs apiece.

New programs in our Top 20: CBS’ Zoo (#7), NBC’s Law and Order (19) and ABC’s Scandal (#20) .

No longer in our Top 20 this week: NBC’s Hannibal (previously #13), ABC’s The Bachelorette/Bachelor (previously #16) and The Whispers (previously #17).

Here are your TOMAmeter results for June 29– July 5.
