The final season of AMC’s hit drama Mad Men kicked off last week and mentions of the program helped place it at #12 in our Top 20. Mad Men has not made an appearance in our TOMAmeter since the beginning of June 2014.
Netflix dropped the trailer for season three of Orange is the New Black, which caused the program to move up ten places to #9 this week. Opposite Orange is the New Black is Netflix’s House of Cards, which fell six spots to #19 and is in danger of missing out on the Top 20 for the first time since this season came out in February.
HBO’s Game of Thrones continues to trail AMC’s The Walking Dead which remains the most mentioned program in our Top 20 this week, but with episode one airing this past Sunday, look for the drama to make the leap in the coming weeks.
ABC and CBS each had three programs in the Top 20 this week, tying for the top honor. With the addition of Mad Men to the list, AMC ties NBC for the next best represented network with three programs apiece.

No longer in our Top 20 this week: ABC’s Fresh Off the Boat (previously #14) and Dancing with the Stars (previously #20), March Madness/NCAA Basketball Tournament (previously #15) and CW’s Supernatural (previously #16).
