A handful of fall programs started to make moves in our ranks this past week. ABC’s Once Upon a Time, NBC’s The Blacklist,and CBS’ Criminal Minds debuted at #9, #10 and #11 respectively.
Joining the returning fall programs in the Top 20 is the new CBS drama, Scorpion, which came in at #16 this week. Scorpion joins FOX’s Gotham (up two places to #7) as the only new broadcast programs to crack the Top 20 at this point.
FX’s Sons of Anarchy is returning for its final season and mentions of the popular cable drama were strong this past week. Mentions of the program helped move it up four spots in the ranking, bringing it to #6.
Another program that aired its final season in 2014 faced a different fate as HBO’s True Blood fell eleven places to #17 and is now in jeopardy of falling out of the Top 20 where it may never be seen again.
ABC picked up another program in the Top 20 this week giving the network a total of three shows in our rankings but CBS holds strong with five of the most mentioned programs in the Top 20. FOX, HBO, AMC, and FX each had two of the Top 20 most mentioned programs this week.

No longer in our Top 20 this week: NBC’s Emmy Awards (previously #7), ABC Family’s Pretty Little Liars (previously #13), NBC’s America’s Got Talent (previously #14), CBS’ Big Brother (previously #15), and MTV’s MTV Video Music Awards (previously #16).
