After a four year hiatus, FOX’s 24 is returning to network TV. The new miniseries, 24: Live Another Day, makes its debut at #5 in our rankings this week and while Jack Bauer always faces a tough challenge from season to season, taking down Game of Thrones as the most mentioned program in the TOMAmeter might be his toughest yet.
Latin Night proved to be a big one for ABC’s Dancing with the Stars. Mentions of the program were strong enough to move it up five places to #12. The show’s increase in the standings was the largest amongst the programs previously in the Top 20. A health scare for competitor and Paralympic snowboarder, Amy Purdy, has left viewers wondering if she will be able to compete in this week’s episode, which likely helped the program stay on the minds of our respondents.
After multiple weeks in the Top 5, ABC’s Scandal has fallen nine places to #14. With the finale in the past, look for the program to continue to slip down in the rankings and eventually out of the Top 20 as we get into the month of May.
With the addition of Modern Family (#13) in the Top 20, ABC is now head and shoulders above all other networks as far as representation goes. The six programs scattered throughout the Top 20 were strong enough to beat out CBS (four programs) while FOX and NBC each had three programs in the Top 20.

Falling out of our Top 20 this week: CW’s Supernatural (previously #13), FOX’s Bones (previously #15) and A&E’s Bates Motel (previously #16).
