With the series finale taking place on Sunday, AMC’s Breaking Bad once again remains the most mentioned program on this week’s TOMAmeter. This marks the eighth consecutive week that AMC’s hit program has topped our charts. As the series comes to a close it will be interesting to see if Breaking Bad stays on the minds of our respondents in the coming weeks.
The new fall programs have taken siege on our Top 20! Last week was a big week for premieres so it is no surprise we see a number of new shows appearing on the Top 20. NBC’s two news series The Blacklist and The Michael J. Fox Show emerge at #7 and #10 respectively. CBS’ The Crazy Ones takes #14 spot and fellow CBS’ newcomer Hostages joins the TOMAmeter at #15.
We see a few big jumps on the TOMAmeter this week, as ABC’s new series Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. moves from #16 to #6 on the back of the strongest premiere ratings for a new fall broadcast show and FOX’s The Voice which jumped from out of the Top 20 to #8 this week!
Each week, Ipsos MediaCT TV Dailies seeks to find out what television shows have people talking. Collecting over 5,000 unaided responses among persons ages 13-64, TV Dailies produces a top of mind awareness meter (TOMAmeter) that details the 20 most spontaneously mentioned television shows.
Here are your TOMAmeter results for September 23 – 29, 2013.
Check back in next week to see if any of the remaining fall programs yet to premiere can make it into the Top 20!
